Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Brings EA Back To Steam

After launching Origin in 2011, publisher
EA started to focus on its own storefront rather than Steam–but that’s changing. Starting with Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order
in just a few weeks, EA is coming back to Valve’s digital storefront. Steam pre-orders for Fallen Order are now
available–the game itself comes to PS4, Xbox One, and PC on November 15th. What’s more, EA will be integrating EA Access
with Steam in spring 2020. Access members can play any EA game in the
digital library, but, as mentioned before, recent EA releases currently aren’t available
on Steam. EA is working to fix this, with big games
like Apex Legends, FIFA 20, and Battlefield 5 also headed to Steam next spring. And since you’re probably gonna ask, there
are currently no plans to offer EA Access on the Epic Games Store. That said, EA is, quote, “always open to new
partnerships.” We’ll have to see what happens with that,
so stay tuned to GameSpot for any future announcements. For now, I’m Tony, and the Force is growing
strong again with this GameSpot News Update.

EA siding with Valve after Ubisoft betrayed Valve just to side with Epic Games, seems fair 👍
