Welcome to the series of training videos for CurrencyXchanger 4.0. I’m going to demonstrate these on a Mac, but the process is the same on a PC. In this first video, I’m going to show you how to open CurrencyXchanger for the first time. We need to first of all open up 4D. This is the database platform that CurrencyXchanger 4.0 runs on and you must have 4D version 13 in order to do so. We need to open the local application and find CurrencyXchanger on our desktop or wherever you have it saved, and open. The first time that you open CurrencyXchanger, you need to run as the administrator. The password by default is admin, and then we log in. It’s highly recommended to change this password once you’ve logged in for the first time as this is the default password. Up on your toolbar, we need to go to Admin and Change Administrator Password. Once in here we type in our current password, and now our new password.
