I have a small account $6,000 I want to day trade I want to get in and out very quickly I want to see very small time frames. I want access to technical data. And I want to avoid pattern day trading rule if possible. Ultimately I do want to learn options but I'm not there yet everything I know about options you could write on the back of a stamp. So that's not in my immediate future. So I want to stick right now to small-cap penny stocks have access to OTC as well as NASDAQ and bigger markets.

I never asked anyone which broker I should use. For me it was simple I knew I wanted to start with just swing trading and some day trading because of the PDT rule just stocks at the beginning . So I checked out TD.Ameritrade found it was easy enough to use and went with them. I have no complaints.

Clay, great point. I’ve been researching so much that this video makes me want to ask you this. What would you recommend for someone who has been swing trading for one year but has recently started day trading for approximately 2 months now. My goal: to day trade on my days off, 3-4 days a week, possibly 3-6 trades a day, using a scanner already, no PDT rule here, and eager to learn level 2 and how to short in near future. Lightspeed seems great but idk if it makes sense for a non professional, non full time trader as myself to use it yet. Do you have a recommendation?

Clay, lightspeed? interactive brokers? speedtrader? centerpoint securities? td ameritrade? tradestation? schwab? e trade? fidelity?…esignal? tradingview? dastrader?… lol. Not too long ago a guy in the 'comments below' was praising Schwab street smart if i remember correctly. So why you don't invite that guy and other traders who use Schwab and maybe somebody from Schwab to tell us why Schwab is a good choice? The same can be done with the rest of the above brokers and trading platforms

    I trade futures

I am trading with AMP using MultiCharts platform.
I am satisfied with platform and trade mostly equity futures (micro Emini contracts)
I am curious if you feel other platform might be better and why?
